Forgot your LAUSD email password?

  1. Go to
  2. Click the “Student” link. [Website transitions to next page.]
  3. Click the “Activate your account or reset your password” link
  4. On the next page, read the LAUSD Acceptable User Policy, and click the “Accept” button.
  5. Enter required identification information:
    • LAUSD Student ID:     
    • Birth Date (MM/DD/YYYY)
    • 4-Digit Student Pin  (If you do not know this, your teacher has your pin)
  6. Click the “Submit” button. [Website transitions to next page.]
  7. The new page will display the student's Name, User ID, and Email Address.
  8. Enter a new password.
  9. Click the “Submit” button. [Website transitions to next page.]
  10. The new page will display a confirmation of account activation.
