Weekly Update

Patrick Henry Parents, Staff, and Students,
As the 2024-25 school year comes to an end, I am incredibly proud of our school community in making this year a success.
In reflecting on this very exciting year, we were able to keep Patrick Henry traditions alive. These traditions are what makes Patrick Henry such a special place. They made new friends, participated in school events, and performed well in their classrooms. Our students made memories that will last a lifetime. We are proud of all their efforts and achievements.
Through our established and exemplary HASA program, Patrick Henry students continued to grow in the classroom. Our remarkable faculty established a love of learning with a focus on writing, project-based learning, and the use of technology, in addition to supporting our diverse learners with compassion and collaboration.
Our Performing and Visual Arts Magnet reveals the talent and long hours of practice evident in the unforgettable performances produced in our PAVA elective classes. We thank our incredible elective teachers for their dedication and extra hours of hard work. We applaud our dedicated PAVA core-subject teachers for their commitment to developing co-curricular experiences that deliver on the promise of arts-infused education as only Patrick Henry can.
The STEM Magnet continued to deliver success through the classroom and school events. The dynamic teachers delivered a rigorous curriculum of science, technology, engineering, and math with an emphasis on real-world problem-solving. We ended the year with a very successful Science Night. We thank all the teachers for their dedication to the STEM Magnet.
Our annual yearbook and culmination celebration successfully combined traditional elements with a few creative twists. We are confident that our eighth graders are prepared to face the challenges that await them next year in high school. As we say goodbye and they look ahead, we hope they will reflect on the many successes they achieved at Patrick Henry. They are the foundation on which to build their future. It is our sincere hope that they will continue to achieve their dreams and goals throughout their lives.
We need to say thank you and farewell to three of our amazing staff members Mr. Klein, Mrs. Bieber, Mr. Ruiz, Mrs. Lopata, Ms. Forman, and Ms. Bolona. We are grateful for their contributions to the students at Patrick Henry and wish them well in their new endeavors.
As principal at Patrick Henry Middle School, I offer a sincere thank you to our parents, our fantastic PTSA, PAVA and STEM Booster Clubs for all their support throughout the year. Patrick Henry’s parents are very special and help set us apart as an exceptional school. The continued achievements of the school and of your students as individuals, begin at home.
Thank you for making this year a success. Have a fun and restful summer!
Mrs. Santi
Principal
